![]() Tenerife Concert Hall Santa CruzThe Auditorio de Tenerife was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava Valls. It is located on the Avenue of the Constitution in the Canarian capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and next to the Atlantic Ocean in the southern part of Port of Santa Cruz. Construction began in 1997 and was completed in 2003. In 2011, the image of the Tenerife Auditorium was included in a series of commemorative coins of 5 euros, which displayed the most emblematic symbols of several Spanish cities. | ![]() Olympic Stadium MontrealThe Olympic Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Canada, located in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal, Quebec. Built in the mid-1970s as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics, it is nicknamed "The Big O," a reference to both it's name and to the doughnut-shape of the permanent component of the stadium's roof. "The Big Owe" name has also been used to reference the astronomical cost of the stadium and the 1976 Olympics as a whole. | ![]() The Puerta De Europa MadridThe Gate of Europe towers also known as KIO Towers are twin office buildings in Madrid, Spain. The towers have a height of 115m and have 26 floors. They were constructed from 1989 to 1996. Each building is 115m tall with an inclination of 15°, making them the first inclined skyscrapers in the world. |

![]() Turning Torso SwedenHSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in Malmö, Sweden on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. The project was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres with 54 stories - 147 apartments, relax/lounge/spa/gym, wine cellar followed by around-the-clock concierge service 365 days a year. | ![]() Walt Disney Concert Hall Los AngelesThe Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue in Downtown of Los Angeles, California, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center and was designed by Frank Gehry. The project was launched in 1987, when Lillian Disney, widow of Walt Disney, donated $50 million. Frank Gehry delivered completed designs in 1991. | ![]() Atomium BrusselsThe Atomium is a building in Brussels originally constructed for Expo '58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, it stands 102m tall. It's nine 18m diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified by 165 billion times. |
