The Monastery Of Agia Lavra

The today's article I want to dedicate it to all those people who believe in the freedom of my country. As you may have read in the About Me session i am from Greece. The 25th of March is a very significant day for everyone in Greece. It is the day that the old Patron Germanos raised the flag of the Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire in the Monastery Of Agia Lavra in Kalavrita. After 400 years of slavery, the Greeks united, decided to oppose the Ottoman Empire.

So in this particular day we celebrate the freedom of our country from the Turkish yoke.
