Before entering the garden itself, the visitor is greeted by an enclosed space with a square fountain. Designed by renowned American decorator Bill Willis, the colourful terracotta tile work that decorate the fountain show his passion for Moroccan artisanal techniques.

The Berber Museum designed by Paul Sinoir in 1931 for Jacques Majorelle, it presents Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent’s personal collection to the public.

Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé bought the Jardin Majorelle in 1980 and saved it from falling victim to a real estate project and becoming a hotel complex. The new owners decided to live in the Villa Bou Saf Saf, which they renamed Villa Oasis.
