 Eternal Flame FallsThe Eternal Flame Falls is a small waterfall in the Shale Creek Preserve, a section of the Chestnut Ridge Park in New York. A small grotto at the waterfall's base emits natural gas, which can be lit to produce a small flame. This flame is visible nearly year round. |  Eternal Flame In The WinterThe flame reaches 2 to 8 cm and observation is especially impressive in the winter when snow covers everything apart of course from the flame. |
